We grasp the growing need for diversity in clinical trials and the associated challenges. Our team is not only reflective and represents the communities, we have a thorough understanding of varying contexts within the community. Community Recruitment Consultants excels in offering top-notch recruitment consultation services throughout all research phases. Our specialization in recruiting minority populations, particularly African Americans, coupled with our unwavering commitment to ethics and community engagement, positions us as the perfect partner for your next project.
We have recruited for studies in therapeutic areas of mental health (anxiety, depression, and PTSD), sleep disorders, sickle cell disease, HIV, and hypertension. Ensuring diversity in clinical trials is vital, as claiming a treatment or drug is safe for all demands the inclusion of every group, preventing adverse health consequences.
Our proudest achievement to date is recruiting thousands of African Americans from underserved marginalized communities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for clinical research at Howard University, contributing vital health data to medical literature because now that information has a chance to be considered in treatment plans and future research.
13 years ago, when CRC was not even a thought, Taqi and Joe’s contributions at Howard University were fundamental to the early success of our Sleep Stress Research Program. They utilized a community engaged approach to recruit hundreds of minority participants residing in hard-to-reach communities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Their contributions have been critical to our being able to secure grants and publish multiple papers in prominent journals.
We continue to adopt recruiting approaches that were pioneered by Taqi and Joe, who have since become Community Recruitment Consultants. Our success in recruiting hard to reach populations have provided opportunities to obtain fundamental insights into the sleep health of African Americans living in stressful urban environments which are being translated into efforts to improve people’s health and quality of life.
